Product Overview:

Municipal Billing (MCB) is a customizable and configurable enterprise municipal billing software package filled with features that make daily tasks a breeze. MCB offers the largest list of included features than any other product.

Product Features:

Bar Coded Billing - Easy to read bills that are bar coded for ease of entering payments that removes chance of misposting.

Customizable/Configurable - All rates, fee schedules, and dynamic business rules are easily maintained by the user.

Security - Integrated user-based security provides the ability for application segments to be turned on or off to specific users. Also, segments can be setup to only be accessed with authorization of the office supervisor. Since the user must have a unique login to enter the system, everything updated in MCB will be stamped with the user ID for easy tracking of disgruntled behavior or employee metrics .

Automated Billing Process - MCB offers a completely automated billing process. You tell it what/who to bill and it does it with one simple click. Billing processes are configurable by district, customer class, or just about any other billing parameter available in the software.

Automated Data Loading - We know that there is a need to load data that billing is dependent on such as; Water consumption files, credit files, customer listing files, and etc. MCB has a built-in utility to create processes for re-occurring data loads.

Reminders - A built-in reminder system allows you to create re-occurring or one-time reminders for the many monthly or daily tasks that exist.

Communication - MCB integrated EMAIL and FTP functionality provides ease of communication between employees, customers, and vendors throughout many of the billing and daily processes within the system.

Remote Authorization - mentioned above is the ability for certain parts of the application to be shut down to users without authorization. This security feature can cause daily activities to slow down or halt if an employee can't finish a task because the office manager is not in the office to grant access to that process. We created a Remote Authorization for those with mobile devices such as iPhones, BlackBerry, etc to remotely approve access to when not in the office.

Available Add-on Modules:

Tap Permit Module - Maintain tap permits. Easily maps to customer account to provide a link between customer and permit.

Flow Meter Module - Enter daily flows. Report and maintain data for forecasting and budgeting purposes.

Deduct Meter Module - Automates the water consumption credits for pool fills, garden watering, etc. Enter or load in the deduct meter readings and MCB calculates the credit.

Water Consumption Credit Module - Automated calculation of credits for water company credits, Deduct meter usage, water usage type credits, etc.

Online Billing Module - We created a dynamic interface to your current website to allow customers to log in, view their account information and make payments. Process is automated from the MCB to update your site with current information in real-time. Module includes ACH capability within billing process.
